How to make a Chain Saw Scabbard Part 2

With a 2 1/2" Mallet, Bryan is pounding the pattern impression... to inlet the bolt heads on the wood box.

Counter sinking with a camphor bit so that it would go flat against the wood.  It also makes it way more secure.
We make our own wood boxes.  Plastic boxes on the guads are usually way too small and are frail and most have lids on them and so you can't pile things up.  Also they are pricey.

Bryan left the outside of the scabbard longer than the inside so that the bar is totally protected and can't catch yourself on it.
The whole process took about an hour.
Cutting off the long bolt.
