Spring is Coming Fast but Winters Still Here....

 Bryan flew back in a few days ago.  Hannah was so happy.... she waged her little tail and tried to jump up, doing a little funny moaning.  She was just so happy.  We all were.   It is plus 5 to 10 Cel in the day now and really sunny.  But there is still a good two feet of snow on the ground.  Bryan started to shovel around the fire pit.  Soon he had a room size area open.  We had Coffee outside.  Spring is coming fast.


The Pussy Willows have been out for three weeks now.   The new manifold (90.00) for the Tundra 300 is here.  Bryan painted it with Shoe Glue.  We'll see if that makes it last more than a year.  Tomorrow we will head up to the first line cabin for the morning and try to get back here before the sun warms the snow too much.

    I am curious where you are at. My dad built a cabin up the Taku and you could hike to Twin Glacier.

    Hi Rose.. The Taku might as well to the Moon to us. It is unreachable to us. We fly over it on our way from Atlin, BC, then pass another 25 miles or so of rugged terrain. We think Twin Glaciers is near the border about 80 miles away from us.
