Mountain Goats

Right on the horizon against the sky. There are three there. You can see their tracks in the snow
over the words the sky.
Four summers ago we saw a large group of over 40 on this Mountain area. Two years ago in the winter a group of 19. This small group is the first we have seen on the Mountain area all winter.
If there is no presence on our land there are some people who think it is up for grabs (like our Northwest Passage). We trap in a remote area of Northern B.C., CANADA, 100 km from the nearest road. We fly in by Beaver Bush Plane and stay here for long periods of time. We are caretakers of the land and this is how we live.

Hey Bryan&Vikki, it must be good to wake up and look out as the birds return and the animals are stirring . As winter gives way to spring enjoy it . I saw two roe deer on my way to work this morning a good way to start the day :)
