If there is no presence on our land there are some people who think it is up for grabs (like our Northwest Passage). We trap in a remote area of Northern B.C., CANADA, 100 km from the nearest road. We fly in by Beaver Bush Plane and stay here for long periods of time. We are caretakers of the land and this is how we live.
Hey Vicki! Thanks for linking up to my recipe! How are things looking up your way? I'll be heading to Smithers in a month for the tree planting season, which starts when the snow clears enough to start planting. Could be a later start this year as it seem the winter was slow in leaving everywhere. Hope you guys are keeping well! take care!
ReplyDeleteSue....yesterday 20 above, today slight rain and dark blue streaks on the lake. By 11 am you couldn't walk on the snow. Even though we still have lots of snow here, we think it will go fast. Any time you have a simple, great Moose recipe give me a nudge... sometimes I can't check out all the blogs we follow. Vikki
