This cabin has been something we have been trying to find for 3 years now and we are finally there. Our friend Dave said he say 2 chainsaws plus an SBX Radio under the bed about 7 years ago, but there are no signs of them now. The inside of the cabin is lined with blue tarps. There was a large box under the bed full of flour, rice, beans etc.

nice, nice photos love it. Cool cabin, we came across 2 way up north last week, trapper must of been on the line, he had a recently skinned lynx in the freezer. man i wish i could of even caught a glimpse of this wolf that was hanging around by the river and near that cabin. I could take my hand/open palm and fit it in his print easily with room. oh yeah my buddy saw the second cabin and said "thats a nice log cabin", other buddy told him to take a better look, just a plywood shack with half log slabs nailed on lol. the big wolf and the pack were recently trying to get into the beaver shacks on the river by this trappers cabin, so im sure he'll get some fur. caught a glimpse of a wood buffalo (that'd fill my freezer for some time)
Who is or was Wade
Nate. Wayde held this trapline from 1997 to about 2002. When we wrote him asking about his time here he replied... "I like a challenge and this area sure gave it to me. Sure hope you are young! and Good Luck". This was an area with no trail, extremely rought terraine and huge snow fall with major milds.
Was Wade the fellow that stayed at outfitters camp near the Nakina-Inklin junction? There was someone there to protect the new camp after the old was burned to the ground?
Always wondered what had taken place and who burned that camp down!
