First time Vikki saw the insides of Wayde's old cabin....
Lunch time....
If there is no presence on our land there are some people who think it is up for grabs (like our Northwest Passage). We trap in a remote area of Northern B.C., CANADA, 100 km from the nearest road. We fly in by Beaver Bush Plane and stay here for long periods of time. We are caretakers of the land and this is how we live.

Your recent photos have been remarkable, an absolute joy to review.
It appears that the elements have taken their tole on the cabin. What are your plans for it, if any?
We've had only a few inches of snow in MN, and a very warm winter, certainly not enough to dig out the snowshoes so I've enjoyed looking at a real winter.
nice pics . i have followed blog for couple years now and very jealous of your lives i am a fellow nova scotia trapper and miss cold snowy winters but maybe some day i will move to bc and run a remote trapline too but right now running a family and spending all our spare time in the woods.
The pictures on your blog are amazing. I just love reading about what you do and I respect it. Keep up the good work.
