The wonderful weather is holding up..... sun, sun, sun and temp around -5 to -10 cel at night. This is taken heading down Walkers' Valley towards Windy Pond line Cabin.
Heading down into the Sutlahine River Valley which is all full of fog.
Bryan has scored the dead tree surface so the Marten can climb up it. You always want the catch to fall away from the tree and hang in the air so that there is no cannibalism.

Great pictures! Thank you for sharing them. I have a question about your choice of marten box. How do you keep the bait up inside the box and how do you keep the 120 connibear from sliding out of the box when it is set? Maybe a pictorial of your box set up and how it works! Thanks again, Rob.
Rob.. The top lid comes off and under it is a screened in shelf (use 1/4" mesh wire to keep shrews out). There are 4 nails to hold trap in place. I will do up a post soon.
