One Nasty Week for the World

We find ourselves listening to the MX-radio more than normal.  Between the BBC and CNN news we are trying to keep up with the series of events that could effect the whole world.  On the BBC.com/news we've been able to see the horrible events happening to the Japanese.  They have great courage.  The firefighters trying to cool the reactors get our hearts attention.
We are very unsure of the events happening in the middle east.  One is damned if you do and damned if you don't.  It's like knowing of a very abusive marriage but when you step in to help..... they unite against you and hate you for trying to help.  All we can do is keep our fingers crossed.

  1. I've been alternating between radio, TV and the Net, trying to keep up with eventsj just like you have. The images both from Japan and Libya are just as horrific.

  2. It has been a terrible time for the people of Japan. As for the other, its a pot waiting to boil over. I am thankful for my family and my health and the freedom to enjoy life. Here's thinking of those less fortunate :)

  3. The middle east is a mess for many reasons. Everyone wants to control the oil. In lieu of the oil we desecrate the surface of planet earth with our harvesting of oil and kill ourselves in unimaginable ways with nuclear power.

We all need to leave dramatically lighter footprints.
