Walkers' Valley First Beaver Pond
The old stored Marten boxes are still where we left them... the bears have not been tempted which makes us happy. (We have 50 new upside-down Marten boxes which we really like ....but have been hesitant about leaving them out (because of all the work making them) ...after the season is over.
) The creek that was frozen over last year is wide open. We had to build a bridge. The snow level last year here was 12' and is now only 5 ' at the same time of year.

Hi, how are you?!
5 feet, that is still a lot of snow. Do you find that sometimes a trail you made has totally disappeared again? And you have to start breaking trail all over.
Isn't it nice to see open water, i love that, it feels like a treasure left from summer.
Hi Jozien... all's well here.. and 5 feet up in Walkers Valley is no snow at all. You have a gift for your placement of words....a treasure left from summer... now that is good.
