If there is no presence on our land there are some people who think it is up for grabs (like our Northwest Passage). We trap in a remote area of Northern B.C., CANADA, 100 km from the nearest road. We fly in by Beaver Bush Plane and stay here for long periods of time. We are caretakers of the land and this is how we live.

Hi Bryan&Vikki
Im happy that after all your trials that your supplies came in .Enjoy them :)Brian(:
You mentioned books arrived in your supplies. I noticed that you have read about Ralph Edwards and Trudy Turner. Have you read "Ruffles on My Longjohns" by Isabel Edwards? We had planned a trip up to the Tweedsmuir area years ago - we were going to be dropped in by float plane. But my husband had to have back surgery and we never made it. Maybe someday! Until then, we are enjoying reading about your adventures!

Wow, major fun day, I can tell.
I keep clicking on the picture with the pack frame in it. That looks like one tough frame. What brand is it?
hi Tramps camp.. yes we've both read Ruffles on my longjohns. A fabulous book. one of the books just arrived is isniper by Stephen Hunter. (amazon.ca) Bryan is half way thru already... Been a real hard day on the trail so off to bed for me. I will have to call at Bryan at 11 to come to bed... When he gets a good book .... he can stay up all night.
Hi Evan....I checked the pack frame and it has a leather fox emblem. It is too full of Bryan's stuff for the fall guide hunt so I couldn't see inside. I will let you know. Hey.... we even got a Miller's Hatchery catalogue. Great fun...
Glad the plane finally got in.
What a great treat.
What is your mailing address?
I am heading to Atlin this weekend to the cabin and thought I'd send in on your next flight one of my calendars for your wall.
Take care, Cathie
Hi cathie....we'd look forward to that. Box 396. Lots of people in Atlin know us and are our friends. Thanks for the thought. Vikki and Bryan
Hi
I like fresh tomatoes too. Out there where you are they are probably even tastier.
