On our East trail to end of lake there are two creeks to put bridges over for the skidoos. After falling a large tree and delimbing it, Bryan used Miss Piggy to pull the cut 12' logs into place (also a peeve was used). The ends of the logs were beveled and the tops of the logs were smoothed. Then he made 1 1/2" by 8' unedged planks with our Alaskan Mill on sight. Some were 17 1/2" wide. These were nailed in place and finally a smaller log was put at each end of bridge to help the Skidoo jump onto bridge. This all took about 2 1/2 hrs.

Is that Miss Piggy in the last picture? You're going to have to share that story some day!
ReplyDeletethe last pic is of Cheeko, vikki's little Tundra 300 who weighs 360 lbs. Miss Piggy's taillights are seen in first photo. She's a 800-stroke super Wide track Scandic who weighs 710 lbs +50 lbs fuel. Her name is self-explanitory.
