May 2010 be a Good Year to you all.

This evening we'll drink a few beer and a couple of glasses of home made wine. I have a special package of Pork Chops that I have been saving... a change from Moose meat and Salmon and canned chicken. After dark we can get Vancouver 11:30 am radio on our eton S350DL Radio ( Band Width, AM/SW Band) without using MX Satelite Radio.... we might turn on old timer channel on MX or maybe CNN.... probably wont make it til midnight....but we'll have a good time. Here's wishing you all the same.. See you in the new year our invisible friends

  7. It's been about -5F here in MN today and I'm headed 'up north' which for most Minnesotans means anywhere south of Canada. Snowshoes will be in order and lots of firewood to bring the 'up north' place to a habitable temperature but it's nothing like your world. Be safe in 2010 and thank you so much for sharing the beauty and challenge of your life from an 'up north' that is so very far from here. Happy New Year.

  11. We are well here....just having trouble with frozen pipes, plumbing...and all that goes with it. Also the 3000 generator we usually use is down and we are using the 5000 Honda which is a gas cobbler so generator is not on for long. A bush plane is scheduled in the coming week to bring in a new Generator, plus more Menthyl Hydrate encase pipes freeze again. We now have to build a fire over the line from my toilet to get that working again. Thanks for worrying....will try to blog even when SHIT is hitting the fan
