Bryan is no Nurse

He doesn't nurse himself and he sure doesn't nurse other people I know of.  It is buckle up and get doing.  But it does work.
Today I noticed he took the camera on the Inklin Trail ..... so we will see.  Yesterday if he'd had the camera he wouldn't have been able to use it.  Bryan said it was snowing and blowing up in Walkers' Valley so hard it was impossible to see.  Had to be 1 1/2 feet of fresh snow.   The snow was coming up over the Skandic 800 windshield and any sign of trail in the open swamps was completely gone.  He had a pretty good idea of where the trail might be but if he went off it he sure knew because the machine was pulled into the side.  He said he couldn't even find his Thermos of coffee in the back box..... it had a couple of foot of snow on it.  Also he was skunked... not even a squirrel for all his effort.  By the time he got back here at 4 pm he was soaked right down to his skin.  Because he didn't have anything to skin it was book time.  He picked up Louis L'Amour   "The Man From The Broken Hills" written 1975 #13 in the Sacketts frontier series  and finally at 1am finished it.
Vikki was able to sleep in the bed again and is baking cookies this afternoon.  She can also type with both hands again.

  1. I sure hope your shoulder continues to improve. I have problems with one of mine whenever I sit too long sewing and boy does it ever hurt!

  2. Ditto (about hoping it will continue to improve, not about sitting too long and sewing).

  3. Hey Vikki its good that your on the mend. Its hard to give in and rest, but sometimes thats all that will help. Bryan sometimes a bad day makes us appreciate the good ones more .Old Louis L'Amour he could tell stories ,he also was a logger ,boxer and ships captain to name but a few .An old book can take you to another world for a while at the end of a long hard day take care :)
