If there is no presence on our land there are some people who think it is up for grabs (like our Northwest Passage). We trap in a remote area of Northern B.C., CANADA, 100 km from the nearest road. We fly in by Beaver Bush Plane and stay here for long periods of time. We are caretakers of the land and this is how we live.
Bryan and Vikki, I have been following your blog for quite a while now. It really is amazing to me to see how thoroughly organized and prepared you are to be out there all alone. It seems that you lack nothing and are truely right at home.
ReplyDeleteHey I just came up with a good idea! A good job for Vikki, put together a book with all of your wilderness adventures and have it published. I am quite sure there would be a very good market for it, and I will take the first 1/2 dozen copies.
ReplyDeleteI love the way Hannah is always right there, seemingly SO interested in everything Byran does.
