We've been up since 7 am for two hours of coffee, talking, planning and listening to the MX radio. Then have porriage, and I make sandwiches for lunch and thermos of coffee while Bryan gets the skidoos and sled ready. We head out at 10 am. At the first set there is a nice Marten

.
Something has been here at this set. All that remains is a little Marten fur and no tracks in the snow.

At this set we caught the Marten stealer, a Lynx. Here he also ate a Marten before getting caught in a snare.

A New Moose Rub on a 5"tree beside our trail.

the Fourth Marten, a real good day.

The fifth Marten and Hannah is real happy

So we push the trail another 2 to 3 hundred feet. It's harder work now because of the 2' of snow.

We leave for home as it gets dark...it takes about 40 minutes and we are home good and tired...After supper Bryan has to start skinning. He will finish the Marten and Lynx the next day.
