When do the grizzlies disappear for the winter?
hi Art....Griz start to disappear around the end of Oct. but you can't be sure of it. We've seen Griz tracks out in mid Dec.
Ugh, my back fails me sometimes too Vikki at the strangest times. Completely goes out.Try to enjoy the down time. Enjoy? maybe be patient....

Hi Cathy ....yes it is hard to be left but Bryan takes the radio and tells me when he's at a bad spot and calls again when he is past. My biggest fear out here the last week is that I can't be much help in a problem. And I am his only help.
hi kara. thanks.... our Tlingit friend Dwain got me interested in beadwork. prefect for low light and doesn't take up cabin space.
Have a great "Back" exercise Vikki that you can do anywhere called the "Dead Bug", cures my back everytime. Hey when your over the big 60, yea gotta pace yourself, we ain't the "Spring Chickens" we use to be.
Though you two are a shining example, of your never too old to try something new. Glad to see you guys back, and posting.

Take care of that back Vikki. Been there, done that, could write a book on the subject. Not nice when it's cold out either. Can't bend to do up laces. Uggg.

The back issue can be a problem, and once injured easy to re-injure. Painful as moving may be, keep moving. Hot packs feel good but make it worse. Cold packs help.
