Hi Bryan&Vikki
ReplyDeleteGood boots will help out there, in the streams and ponds. Bryan its murder clambering over wet slimy frosty logs ,Ive wore the same colours on my jeans many times! keep dry trappers:)Brian(:
Bryan , Vikki, hope you're keeping dry there. that water looks not only cold but slippery as well. reminds me of one time i was hiking in n.c. mountains and was crossing over a stream near a waterfall. did'nt see the moss on the rocks and feet went flying out. almost went over the falls. think i cracked a rib. was sore for weeks afterwards. at least you fell on a well padded area. ken
ReplyDeleteMe thinks you need a few more colder nights and a bit more frost;)
ReplyDeleteBoy sure been warm this fall. Was +12 here in Ft. Nellie yesterday. what little bit of frost we had in the ground is pretty much gone.
We need some colder weather or it might become a cheap and skimpy winter for some.
Take care U2
Gregg
I cannot begin to describe how much I look forward to your posts. Your hard work and the challenge of remote living in such a beautiful setting challenge me to re-think my life. Thank you.
