Feb 24th... Heading up the Inklin/Sutlahine to Windy Pond

Marten season is just about over, but this is all new ground.  Below is the ice bridge that had given Vikki trouble.  Bryan and Henri had shoveled more snow on it and now it was solid again.
Notice Bee "our traveling cat" is on Henri skidoo.

Each river crossing is rechecked before crossing.  Bryan or Henri would walk out with an axe.

Lots of Moose tracks..... but also lots of Wolf tracks.

This is obviously a Marten crossing.  Bryan went and cut some dead wood and made a set right by the trail.  It is just pushed into the snow.  Very temporary.
