If there is no presence on our land there are some people who think it is up for grabs (like our Northwest Passage). We trap in a remote area of Northern B.C., CANADA, 100 km from the nearest road. We fly in by Beaver Bush Plane and stay here for long periods of time. We are caretakers of the land and this is how we live.

Hi guys that is a beautiful part of the world you live in you will never tire of it .How much longer will you have the snow for?

Wow. The scenery pictures you guys have posted the last week or so have been beyond great! I can't help dreaming of the good old days when I was out and about in the mountains a bit myself. Thank you very much for the vicarious living opportunity!
Hi Brian ....it is even more beautiful than the pics. Snow starts in Oct and melts in May. Although this year is different. no snow in the last 6 weeks. Creeks are open. 0 C tomorrow.

Hi Ken....We are 770 miles as the crow flies from Vancouver, or 1426 miles driving by truck from Vancouver using the Alaska highway. Then you have to get on a bush plane for an hour.
