Lots of Snow

On Dec 10 while checking the Goat trail Bryan came across strange tracks in the 5 foot deep snow. At first he wondered what is that???? It looked like a giant 3 foot wide bowling ball had rolled it's way across the trail. Upon looking closer he say foot prints in the bottom...a BIG GRIZZLY had woken up and had checked out one of our sets, then walked 100 down our trail then headed off into the bush again. The last sign of Grizzly tracks was late October.
Our chilcotin fence has a 3 ft cap on it.

It is really pilling up out there. In the yard there is 4 feet of snow and up in the hills there is 5'. Unless you are on a Skidoo or snowshoes you are not going anywhere. These are called Lynx snowshoes 20" and are made by a man in Prince George. They are used by working fallers and are what we use. They are the best!!! We have the others which are fine on beaver ponds but in the thick of the forest you can turn around on these and move thru small places.
