If there is no presence on our land there are some people who think it is up for grabs (like our Northwest Passage). We trap in a remote area of Northern B.C., CANADA, 100 km from the nearest road. We fly in by Beaver Bush Plane and stay here for long periods of time. We are caretakers of the land and this is how we live.
Nice progress on the cabin.
ReplyDeleteIn MN we do about 20" on center on the roof rafters. Yours look small than that but I'm assuming that is due to the snow load. I was going to ask if you do any cross bracing on the roof rafters or does your heavy roof sheathing provide for that?
You should probably get a click-thru commission from the Alaskan Mill people on this. Your photos and explanations have been fantastic. Each cabin description is better than the previous. Does your trapping permit allow for a third cabin?
