If there is no presence on our land there are some people who think it is up for grabs (like our Northwest Passage). We trap in a remote area of Northern B.C., CANADA, 100 km from the nearest road. We fly in by Beaver Bush Plane and stay here for long periods of time. We are caretakers of the land and this is how we live.

Its good to have you back blogging again that snow is creeping down the mountains . The lake looks beautiful at this time of year. Take care trappers :)Brian(:
Good to see you folks back online.
No snow there either I see. I am in Ft. Nelson and we got about an inch here.
I was wondering if you could send me an email as I have a new computer and your email adress is on the old computer. My father has some pictures he wishes for me to forward onto you of a small log cabin he built.
Take care U2

Hey Vikki and Brian, really good to see you guys back online again. Checked quite a few times this Summer and wondered what had happened to you. I actually passed through Teslin when you guys were there. We did a job for the Yukon government in Charmacks this Summer. I stopped at a gift centre in Teslin where a lady working there told me her husband Frank had a trapline in the Teslin area. And that he sells trapping supplies. Anyway have a good and safe Winter and catch lots of fur.
those pics of the lake are beautiful. would love to be out there in a canoe. what have the temps been doing. ken
