REDS ARE THE HOLES THE SOCKEYE SALMON MAKE DURING THEIR MATING. THESE ARE ALL ALONG THE SOUTH SHORE OF THE LAKE. SOME OF THE UNDER WATER CAVERNS ARE 8 FEET DEEP AND 40 FEET LONG. DEAD SALMON ARE DEEP IN THE LAKE OR IF THEY WERE WASHED ASHORE THEY ARE BEAR FOOD.
TWO BALD EAGLES
GRIZZLY HAVE TRIED TO GET INTO THIS BEAVER HOUSE WHICH IS 400 FEET FROM OUR CABIN. NOTICE THE CLOUDED WATER RUN IN THE FOREFRONT OF THE PIC. THAT IS PROBABLY THE HARD WORKING BEAVER.

Interesting. So the grizzlies like a beaver snack? I could use a couple. This is the time of the year that the beavers pick a week to take down trees along my waterfront. Twice in 25 years I've lost 10-15 trees in four days in about 1500 feet of shoreline.
Things are getting colder out there for you guys, with the frost making the mornings a real show .A early winter for us Scotties this year too they reckon. Loads of good work done before the big falls of snow well done and thanks for sharing it with us :)
