BEFORE THE SNOW FLIES

 LAST YEAR WE DIDN'T GET A CHANCE TO ROTATE THE GARDEN BECAUSE OF ALL THE RAIN.... HOPEFULLY NEXT SPRING THERE WON'T BE SO MANY WEEDS.
IF YOU LOOK UP .... STUMP REMOVAL    ON THE INDEX YOU CAN SEE ALL THE WORK BRYAN HAD MAKING THIS GARDEN SO NICE BACK IN MAY 27, 2009.
ROTOTILLER IS A MTD 18" DUAL DIRECTION TINES, MADE IN THE USA.  WITH A HONDA GC 90 MOTOR.   A GREAT MACHINE. 

 ROSEHIPS...      HAVE ALOT OF VITAMIN C

ADVENTURES IN NORTHERN COOKING   BY MICHELE GENEST   PHOTOS  BY CATHIE ARCHBOULD..       NOW THIS IS A GREAT COOK BOOK ALONG WITH SOME REALLY GOOD READS..   ANYONE WHO LIVES UP HERE OR WANTS TO WOULD LOVE TO RECEIVE THIS FOR CHRISTMAS.  VIKKI COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN FOR 2 OR 3 DAYS.  JUST READING THE STORIES AND THINKING OF WHAT SHE WOULD MAKE.  6 RECIPES FOR ROSEHIPS.....  5 FOR HIGHBUSH CRANBERRY.

Just wondering what make roto tiller are you using and are you happy with it. I'm going to buy a tiller for this coming spring.

Vikki, so glad you are enjoying the Boreal Gourmet cookbook, did you get the Boreal Herbal, wild plants and medicines as well? Let me know and I'll take one down to Atlin this weekend for you. I would leave it at the General Store for eventual delivery?
Also wanted to say your pup looks like a great find! I'm sure she'll keep your older dog younger longer!

that looks like a beautiful garden. did all that come up since you[ve been back. or planted before. ishi looks like he? is going to be a great dog. i like the way he and bee can play together.hope he wont get too rough. our dog really cant be trusted with the cat.may decide she is lunch. ken
